Thanks for your message. We understand what you’re looking for, but unfortunately, the system does not support “booking inquiries” in case of missing availability for specific dates, I’m sorry.
Ideally, if you enable the apposite configuration setting, in case of missing availability for your rooms/listings on some dates of the year, the system will try to suggest the closest booking dates available, or alternatively it will suggest to book different rooms in case the guest party could not be satisfied. The system could eventually to book even a split-stay, as long as the apposite configuration settings are enabled. However, displaying a button to send a contact request (inquiry) in case of no availability is not a function available. You could probably offer a contact button on your website so that guests could click on it at any time.
Alternatively, the “Room Details” page of VikBooking for the front-end section of your website can display a button to send an information request or booking inquiry. That’s the only way for guests to send a direct message to the property manager regarding a specific listing/room, but that button would be displayed before even choosing the stay dates, right above the availability calendar in the page “Room Details”.
