    Import some content
    Install Create Block theme Plugin v. 2.0.2, activate it
    Create Block Theme child
    Try to upoad it. Get error msg. “

    I’m not sure if it’s the SAME problem (I was testing on 2.1 rather that 2.0) however I did find A bug which I have created a fix for here. Hopefully that will resolve your issue creating a child theme.

    Hi Jason, 

    Thank you! I did update to 2.1 since I left the thread on Support, Then, I deleted that plugin and downloaded the one that had been just updated yesterday. ?Not sure if it was diff. or not, but thought i’d try it in any case.

    I uploaded some google fonts via the editor.

    Dashboard>Create Block Theme> has this message: This page is deprecated and will be removed in the next release. Please try exporting from the Create Block Theme menu of the editor instead.

    I created a child theme from the editor (the wrench icon). it worked fine. no downloading a theme, then uploading a theme, just created and I think it also activated it.?
