Create Child Theme

  • I installed the Catch Child Theme in order to create a recommended child theme for Ignite Plus. Here is what it is asking me to do:

    Select Parent Theme:? ?… I entered Ignite Plus
    Child theme’s name: … would the correct name here be Child Ignite Plus ??
    Description: … possibly The Child theme for Ignite Plus
    Author … ???
    Version … ??? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?? ?

    Will you help provide better or more correct entries here — or maybe recommend a different child theme creator plugin ??

    Hi Charles,

    Here is an empty Ignite Plus child theme you can install through the Appearance menu: child theme here

    This will get your site onto a child theme without installing any new plugins.
