My website host, tsohost, has migrated my website to a new server and cPanel. Now UpdraftPlus runs for several hours with out producing a backup. I have attached a link to the log file. I am assuming I will have to get tsohost to revise some cPanel settings. Can anybody help with what I should suggest to them?
    Thank you for any help

    Hi,

    Thanks for sending the log.

    It shows this warning:
“7559.656 (9) [Warning] Your website is visited infrequently and UpdraftPlus is not getting the resources it hoped for; please read this page: https://updraftplus.com/faqs/why-am-i-getting-warnings-about-my-site-not-having-enough-visitors/”

This warning message causes UpdraftPlus not able to create or complete backups. UpdraftPlus is only able to run when WordPress is loaded into memory, i.e. when the site is accessed. As such, UpdraftPlus is not able to resume the backups in good time.

I would recommend looking into this guide, which includes several suggestions to solutions and workarounds for the low visitor issue: https://updraftplus.com/faqs/why-am-i-getting-warnings-about-my-site-not-having-enough-visitors/

    Best Wishes,

Thank you for your reply. I have tried backing up and leaving the Updraftplus plugin page open as suggested in the guide but it has still failed after around 2 hours. I have attached a link to the latest log.

    Best wishes

I just had a similar issue, and Bryle recommended that I go to settings – advanced and change the size limit from 400 to 100. That worked.

I tried setting the limit to 100 but that resulted in the backup taking over 6 hours. I have removed Updraftplus for the time being an will rely on a manual cPanel backup until I have more time to come back to the problem.
Thank for everyones help and have a good Christmas.
