Create and edit new nested pages

  • Hi everyone!

    I started editing the mesmerize theme, and now I am having trouble creating new nested pages, so when user presses on the appropriate section’s title in main menu, he/she gets redirected to that new page. I can create a new page in WP but can not edit it using the Costumizer.
    Is this theme a one page theme?

  • Here’s my approach:

    Create the new page as normal using the WP control panel, then view the page. Once viewing the page, I have a customize option in the WP toolbar at the top of the page. That’s how I enter the customizer vs. the standard WP edit console.

    Alternatively, you can use this URL to edit any page:

    https://yourdomain/wp-admin/customize.php?url=pageurl

    I rarely find any need to use the customizer on inner pages, though. The customizer is useful for establishing the front and inner page templates, but once those templates are established, I generally do not change individual pages.
