    Hi

    We would like to add a ticket on customer portal

    right now it seems we have to select a customer to create a ticket from backend, and then it says the customer is the ticket author

    we actually need to create a ticket ourselves and be the author (staff author) and then the customer can reply

    like a project management support tool

    both staff and customer should be able to create tickets (staff must be able to create a ticket to tell the client he has to do something for instance)

    how can we do that ?

Our system primarily facilitates customers in creating tickets, allowing them to initiate requests seamlessly. Additionally, our agents are empowered to create tickets on behalf of customers, streamlining the support process.

    It’s important to note that, in every case, the ticket initiator or author is designated as the customer. Regrettably, our current system does not allow agents to create tickets as the main author or initiator. However, I’m taking your query as a feature request which will be reviewed by the R&D team.
