    Hello! I understand that if the original image for example 1400 * 600, then create a miniature 900 * 650 does not work?

    650 is larger than 600, so no, WordPress will not create a thumbnail at that size for that image. My plugin uses the thumbnailing functionality that is built into WordPress.
