create a post into a current category?

    hi, i want to know if is possible to create a post into a current category. The post’s category must be hidden (or there is no post category selector) and the new post goes directly to the current category.
    For example: a site display the archive posts of a category “football”, when a user create a post using the shortcode [user-submitted-posts] the new post moves directly to the category “football”

    Yes it is possible with these steps:

    1) Enable the option, “Hidden/Default Category”
    2) Enter your category ID in the option, “Category ID for Hidden Field”

    Remember to save changes and done.

    but i want to post to a current category (the category that selected to show the archive posts) and you said that i must enter the category ID.

    I think it’s not the same..

    Well, you can’t hide a category and show it at the same time. So I’m guessing that whatever it is that you’re trying to do is not a supported feature at this time.
