  • WordPress has features to show only certain things in the menu’s. I not sure if this is what you are looking for but to me it sounds like it work

I posted what amounts to the same thing in a reply to this thread:

Under Appearance -> Menus, do you have “automatically add new top-level pages” checked? If so, this will automatically add any top-level pages that are created. If you can’t see anything interesting, create a menu with only the links you want, add the pages you want to that menu, and then hook the menu into your header. This way, you can create a top-level page and not have it show up in the menu.

If your theme doesn’t have support for menus, just post here and I’ll give you the code to add to your theme and then you can do the above steps.

    Hope this helps.

Thank you, but it’s not my problem i don’t want to creat a parent folder which in i’ll put my menus i want to creat a page like https://www.revsciencetn.org/something which i’ll creat in that an article and people can get acces to it only if i give them the link. that page can’t be seen on the top menu or on the articles

Yes, and that’s what I said does. If you uncheck “automatically add new top-level pages” and add things to your menu (then hook your menu), you can create any top-level page and it won’t show up in your menu automatically, while keeping your preferred menu structure. Then, after you create the page, you can just give people the link to that page and not worry about it showing up anywhere you don’t want it to. The process takes about 10 minutes at most.

Nope guys i tried but (lol) i forgot that i’m an admin and i’m the only who can see that then the page i created was private

Really? Go to Pages -> All Pages -> the page you created. It should give you a permanent link below the title that you can access if you copy and paste it into a link.

I finally understand ; that’s what i did : i created a menu (Appearance -> Menus) at the left on theme menu there’s primary navigation & secondary navigation i hooked my menu that i just created on secondary navigation then only pages i select on this menu will be shown ??
