Create a page template based on index.php

Hi,

I’m trying to create a page to show most voted posts.

First, I’m testing the default page, the lastes post. I have created a copy of index.php in the directory oceanwp/templates/ called most-liked.php and then I have create a blank page, selecting Most Liked as the template page. And finally I have selected this paga as the initial static page. But it doesn’t work. Post are not showed.

What is wrong? How can I do it?
