Create a Page not linked to Main Nav

You can do that manually by adding an “exclude= {pageid}” to the call to wp_list_pages in header.php

Or you can install a plugin that lets you specify on that page in the editor to exclude it from the nav.

You link to it by determining its URL (see the page slug) and creating a regular <a href=" link tag on the post or page you want to present the link to the site visitor.
