Create a gallery that links to an info page

  • Hi there,

    I’ve Googled this quite a bit but can’t find an exact solution to what I am looking for.

    I want to have a gallery which links to a page / post containing the image file and some text.

    Ideally, I would like to do this with NextGen Gallery (as I am already using it) or some other plugin that manages this in a consistent manner. I don’t want to have to customise so that I am linking to a standard page or post, as the layout may then be inconsistent.

    It looks like you can do something similar by creating separate galleries with one image in NextGen, then linking each gallery to the Page or Post you want to link it to. Here’s some more information:

    Thanks for this, but am I right in saying that this only works per gallery, and not per image?

    In the instructions given, when you create each gallery, you put one image in each gallery. So, while technically this is “per gallery” it accomplishes the same goal, which is to allow you to link one image to a Page or Post.
