‘Create a Free Account for More Features’ is a misleading lie

Under ‘Get more Features’, there are some features listed down on that plugin page. I was mainly interested in the ‘Automatically update with NEW reviews’ feature, so I had the impression that I could just create a free account with the green button to get those listed features. However, nowhere did it state that this ‘free account’ is a trial and requires further subscription, so after 7 days I was inconvenienced with the need to delete the widget from my client’s website.

Either the text for the list of features on this page should be updated, or it should not be stated that this is a free account, since this comes with an unusuably short time limit for production (in addition to being signed up for a spam mailing list without any checkbox), and I do not wish to pay $65-349 a year before currency conversion fees to have a simple, small widget on my site as advertised with a basic auto-refresh feature, which is all I need – no ‘Get more reviews’, ‘Reply with ChatGPT’, spam email, none of that nonsense. Especially not after what I experienced.

I am also a dev, and I understand that both of us need to make money. But having misleading advertisements like these is not the way to go here.
