Create a CPT with a selectable taxonomy

  • I have created a CPT and a custom field with a dropdown multiselect.

    It seems to work ok but what I really want to do is a CPT where the user selects items from an existing taxonomy and then these are stored in the CPT as that users profile.

    It would be even better if the user could do this from a front end form.

    Is this achievable? If so, I would really appreciate some pointers on how to achieve it.
