Creat new blank page before the homepage

  • Hello,
    I want to crate a new page to be inserted before my homepage (and rest of site). It will include only 6 images with links to various parts of the new site, nothing else (No title, menus etc) does anyone know how to do this?

  • The “Home” page of your website will always be a file called “index.php.”
    You could make your “Landing Page” with the images be the actual home page, index.php.

    Does this serve a specific business purpose? Some companies will create multiple landing pages, especially for different events, sales, seasons, or search terms with adwords. The landing page can be used with a custom domain redirect that is easy to remember.

    If you want this landing page to be there forever I suggest you just make it your “home” page. You can assign different templates within a theme to specific pages within WordPress. Look for a theme that fits this need.
