    Hello guys!

I’ve disabled the events archive in Yoast SEO, but my crawler still finds 10 k past events on the site (well rather date-stamps than actual sites:

    xyz.com/events/2020-07-02
    xyz.com/events/liste/?tribe-bar-date=2020
    ..

I would like to use the future events as indexed.

    What is the recommendation here?

Disable both events archive and events in Yoast SEO?
Why do I only find 2 posts in this forum with this issue? =)

    Thank you

    Hi @fabswordpress,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to mark old events as “noindex”, so customizing template files might be the best way to approach this.

You can start by customizing single event template file, following our customization guide, and add conditionals that add noindex meta to page if the event start date is old than the current date.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards,
    Masood
