I was checking my website’s crawl errors through Google’s “search console” and found upwards of 64 different crawl errors (a mix of various layers and markers I’ve created over the years). All of the errors share the following URL commonality:

    wp-content/plugins/leaflet-maps-marker/leaflet-wikitude.php?

I’m not too familiar with wikitude but upon doing some research on your site and help pages it seems as though it deals with augmented reality and has actually been retired by your site. It appears as though augmented reality settings are for Pro members (of which I am not). I did try the free trial about three years ago, so I wonder if all of those links were automatically created at that time? Is there a way to delete those links through the mapsmarker plugin? Or a way to redirect them to the new API provider so as to remove the crawl errors I am getting?

Any info on this would be great!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

with the free version 3.12.2 the Wikitude API has already been removed (as mobilizy, the company behind Wikitude unfortunately discontinued the related API, not us). I see that your site uses this version, so I am not sure why Google still thinks that those links still exist. Perhaps those links are used somewhere else on your site or have been added manually (I could not find those link in your sitemap). For more infos on crawl errors and how to resolve them, please have a look at tutorials like https://www.searchviu.com/en/crawl-errors-google-search-console/

    best,

    Robert

Thanks Robert for checking my site! As long as you see that my site is using the right version, that’s good enough for me!

Thank you again for your help, and quick response to my questions!
