Hello,

The extensions doesn’t work (making query bug, settings page unavailable) with php 8.1 and wordpress 6.0.2.

Here are the mail I received (*** replace my domain):

Hi,

I don’t know when/if I will have time to update the plugin, but the workaround you can do yourself is:

Open the plugin file “archivist.php” and remove these lines:
```
			if ( get_magic_quotes_gpc() ) {
				// strip slashes so HTML won't be escaped
			    $_POST      = array_map( 'stripslashes_deep', $_POST );
			    $_GET       = array_map( 'stripslashes_deep', $_GET );
			    $_REQUEST   = array_map( 'stripslashes_deep', $_REQUEST );
			}
```

Hello, and thanks for helping!

But still causes problem on query sadly (when I use [archivist template="sea1" query="year==2021&monthnum=01"] i get an error).

Instead of removing the code I just added an function_exists() call to the if, and that resolved my issues.

I’ve also created a PR over on GH for the fix.

Still not working for me (same error) :-/

Maybe a conflict with another plugin or something on my website only.
