crashes site every now and then after post publish

    We have it on a publisher with a big server and every now and then after they publish the server usages goes from 20% average to maxed out and crash. The process has always been resource intensive and we do have asynchronous publishing on but still problems. Please make the way it publishers more efficient.

    Typically this is a result of having the “remote images” setting set to “no” and using very large images in your post. The server has to do a lot of image processing, which as you can imagine, is very resource intensive.

    If you have the remote images setting set to “no,” can you try setting it to “yes” and seeing if that makes a difference?
