• Crashes iOS browsers (at least Safari on different iPhone models).

Seen the report in support forums of different themes. Since they mentioned it probably is the comment form feature, I tried to find a way to switch that off – doesn’t seem possible, so I had to switch the whole plugin off. Not nice at all.

I can’t seem to reproduce this. Can you provide more details, and maybe a URL I can look at?

I don’t have an URL to show because I had to deactivate Jetpack.

But good to know what part of Jetpack is buggy. I hadn’t realized (UX is really sub-optimal on that) that I could have just deactivated the Jetpack comment part.

I was able to reproduce this using the Decode theme (but not TwentyThirteen or other default themes); thanks for the information, isaacrthorne.

Sam Steiner: what theme is your site using? Once I know if your theme is the same or not as Isaac’s, I will open a Github issue for Jetpack to try to fix this.

I am using the theme “Akita” by Theme Blvd. Version 2.1.4.

Thanks Sam. Since that’s a Themeforest theme, I can’t vouch for the code quality. Nonetheless, I have opened a Github issue, mentioning both themes:
