Crashed Site on Install – Be very careful

  • The plugin crashed my fairly vanilla wordpress site on install and activation. Caused a “critical error” and that was that, site crashed. In case this happens to you, and given that others are posting on their help pages with the same serious issue, you will need to FTP into your site, rename the rank math folder in plugins to something else, then go back to /wp-admin and delete the plugin. Not the way you want to first experience a plugin!

    If plugin would have been crashing, all 800000+ websites (currently) would have crashed, no?

    We would recommend opening a new support topic so we can assist you better.

    Alternatively, you can always install WordPress locally by using a Software like Local by Flywheel.
