Crashed My Site – Support Not Interested
-
My initial review is below the dashed line.
Thank you for the follow up Joakim. Given what the WP world has gone through during the past 36 or so hours, I understand what happened. This morning I made sure my sites were fully updated to WP 6.4.1. I downloaded the newest version of Simple: Press Forum. Installation was smooth, not even the slightest of hiccups.
I am changing my rating from 1 star to 5 star based on your excellent customer service.
Now I can start exploring Simple: Press Forum.

I can’t remember the last time I gave a plugin only 1 star. I read reviews and looked carefully at their website. Despite the high price and some negative reviews, I thought I would give it a try. Downloaded and installed it. As soon as I pressed Activate it crashed my site.
Thank goodness for WP Recovery Mode. I was able to quickly get back into the site and copy the error code and information which I then submitted to their support.
This morning I received what basically amounted to a “solve it yourself” response. They suggested I buy the pro version and then they would help me. I’ve done that with other plugins but this one failed instantly. Why would I risk my time and money buying the pro version?
Interestingly, some of the poor reviews I initially disregarded described a very similar problem. Guess I should have paid attention to them.
My advice, stay away from this plugin. Here is the error which crashed my site.
This plugin failed to load properly and is paused during recovery mode.
