    I have installed this plugin and my page is no longer available.

    There is no support for customers.

    Very bad!

    First of all I would like to say that we provide support for our customers, in a better way than many others, we offer ticketing system instead of e-mails or forums. You can find the link everywhere, in the plugin description page, support tab, donate link, our website, etc. Anyway, I will put it here too in case if needed:

    Then, I would like to see how is even possible that a plugin upon installation can destroy the entire website. I don’t know if you are aware of this or not, but the plugin passed a deep WordPress testing and review, and what a strange thing, they didn’t detect anything.

    And finally, I would like to invite you to contact us and I’m sure we will support you in the best way possible to fix any issue you have.

    Dear Jan,

    It seems a good reason enough that this user is commenting bad things all over the place. He just registered and the first thing he does is to write a bad review here, and he is not the first one. I know that WordPress doesn’t remove comments/reviews but someone is playing with my plugin’s reputation, and as you can see, my plugin is new and it has more reviews than plugins generally used to have.
    I already sent an email to plugins at wordpress, but as I didn’t receive any response yet, I cannot stay doing anything while someone is spamming all over the place.
    So I just ask you to please investigate these couple of users and confirm if they are really fake users block them.

    Investigated and I’m sorry but there’s nothing there.

    It is difficult to deal with 1 star reviews but honestly, you’ve only 3 one star reviews. As a pattern of abuse that’s nothing. Before you raise that alarm I suggest you try a different approach. Like this: ??

    Hi @dilan12 I am sorry you are having a problem with this plugin. There can be many reasons for plugin problems and a little troubleshooting can go a long way to sort that out.

    Do you have access to your web server’s error log? When a page has trouble like that an error message should be produced on your server. That error can help others identify what the problem is and suggest a fix.

    If it’s this plugin (it may be) then I am sure the plugin author will be willing to support you to make this free plugin better for all users.

    This guy posted 3 reviews (2 bad reviews and 1 good review) like in 5 minutes, I don’t know you but I’m willing to hire him like a QA for my company because it seems that he can perfectly test 3 completely different complex backup plugins.

    I know that fake reviews affect everyone in WordPress, but the ones which are very obvious in my very personal opinion should be investigated and deleted. Anyway I believe you that you can’t do anything about them and I’ll live with them.

    We have much better ways of checking sock puppets than looking at the date the accounts were created.

    He is my friend and I asked him personally to review my plugin. He has a WordPress website and he is using my plugin. I am very very sure that he is not a bot and he won’t post anything bad for a plugin without even downloading it. I think that I already figured out how you check them ??

    Don’t worry about sock puppets. We can catch them via a variety of methods. If you do it, and you’re an author of a plugin or theme, then you risk getting your plugin or theme pulled from the repo. For good.

    I’m closing this review. It’s supposed to about dilan12’s review and not worrying about fake users.
