Crashed after writing new post

  • Hello everyone! My site (v3rnon.com) is down and I cannot figure out what has happened nor how to resolve it. I created a new post last evening and it took forever for it to process it seemed. After a very long time I tried opening my site in another browser but after loading for several minutes it was left with nothing but a blank white page.

    Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. I only started using WordPress two days ago so doing a fresh install wouldn’t be terribly difficult but disappointing. Other information that may be helpful is that I was using WP 2.3.2, K2 RC3 theme, Stormy Horizon style.

    Ok, I removed the Google Analyticator plugin because I found a couple mentions that it may not play well with K2. After removing the plugin and a few hours wait the site was again available. However, I just made another post to see if things were in fact fixed. Upon clicking publish I received the following error:

    Something went wrong – Server : Couldn’t get db master at /home/lj/cgi-bin/LJ/User.pm line 3679.

    I’m going to do some searching and hope to find an answer. If anyone could point me in the right direction I’d be very appreciative!

    Last night I got the white page too, after that all I get is the error message: “ERROR: WordPress requires Cookies but your browser does not support them or they are blocked.”

    I wonder if they are related?

    I’ve tried all of the suggestions in this forum with no success.

    I am just starting with WP as well and have the same problem. I try to save or publish a new post and it goes off into never never land.
    I’m going to try to remove any plug-ins or add ons I may have installed

    I’m having the same issue. I just upgraded my blog to the newest version last night, and was wrote a successful post last night. I was working on a draft to post today, and went to save it, and bam! white page. Whats funny is I have like 3 other wordpress installations as /blogurl and they all get white page to now. Can someone please tell us what is going on and how to fix the issue? Thx.

    let me add. I’m going to add real quick that the three other installs are not the newest version.

    I just updated to the latest (2.3.2) and was able to add 2 new posts to my test site.
    edit: I also removed any plug-ins but I don’t think that was the answer.
