My production site crashed on admin site this morning with this error:

[02-Nov-2022 08:02:11 UTC] PHP Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘/var/www/vhosts/perties.sk/sk/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/jetpack_vendor/automattic/jetpack-waf/src/../rules/allow-ip.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/plesk/php/7.4/share/pear’) in /var/www/vhosts/perties.sk/sk/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/jetpack_vendor/automattic/jetpack-waf/rules/rules.php on line 2

I had to turn off Jetpack. Can you help?

  • It’s a temporary solution but you can delete the “rules” directory in jetpack/jetpack_vendor/automattic/jetpack-waf/ which should fix the issue. The folder doesn’t exist in any other version and the file inside the rules directory is calling for files that don’t exist

OK, that helped. I rather stick with version 11.5
    Thanks.

    Hi @perties,

Sorry for the inconvenience there. We are aware of the issue and working on a point release (11.5.1) to fix it. It should be out in the next 24 hours. There’s more information about this here.

    Regards

I fixed it as you said but it returned and the site was down again. This is not good….
