WP as a craigs list ?

  • anybody know if there is the possibility to run a craigslist kind of site using wordpress as the engine?

    shame … I am using wordpress to power 25 sites all of which are wonderfully interchangable thanks to wp but I would really like to run free classified advertisements as an added feature for the community that I represent (Barga in Tuscany, Italy)… somebody, somewhere must have already started to use wordpress in the way, don’t you think ?

    it could be done, but you’d be much better served with one of the php classifieds scripts already available out there. at least, I’d think so.. ??
