CPU usage goes through roof after update to 4.0.8

    Hi,

    I just recently updated from version 3.something to version 4.0.8. All of a sudden our CPU server load went through the roof and it looks like mysql is using a lot of the CPU.
    As soon as I deactivated the plugin CPU usage went back to normal.

    I found one error with ftp_pwd(), but I changed some settings in my wp-config.php and it went away.

    But the CPU load is still going through the roof. I’m going to have to try and roll back to an older version.
    Any idea whats happening?
