• I have several WordPress on my server, some mine, some of my clients.
I have seen that in the Daily Process Log, they are returning

    Top Process %CPU 120 /usr/bin/php /home/xxxxx/public_html/index.php
    Top Process %CPU 101 /usr/bin/php /home/xxxxx/public_html/index.php
    Top Process %CPU 88 /usr/bin/php /home/xxxxx/public_html/index.php
    Top Process %CPU 65 /usr/bin/php /home/xxxxx/public_html/index.php

I have asked them to deactivate all of their plugins, but the problem seem no to be there in the plugins.

Is is WordPress issue, is it server issue? If it is server issue, what should I change in the configuration?

A phpinfo you can find here.

Same here, all of my WordPress sites are down, (CPU overload / Slow WordPress admin) i had this on 2.9.2 and after i upgraded to 3.0.1 the problem still around.

    I have tried the following:
    – Disabling all plugins.
    – Optimize databases.
    – Changing host provider.
    – Back to default permalinks.
    – Changing templates.
    – Updating plugins.

Nothing seems to solve this issue.

I get a same issue from time to time. Someone needs to get the ear of a developer or admin

@ ioloman; replying to months-old threads will help little.

Start a new thread with details on who your host is, linux or windows, if you’ve checked your sites via other networks and PCs, and URLs so people can see the site speed themselves.

@sarethan: “From time to time” means absolutely nothing. “Someone needs to get the ear of a developer or admin” means nothing as well. This is open source software that performs perfectly well for 99% of the users out there. Performance issues are primarily (but not exclusively) with the host and setup, not with the core software.

@songdogtech: :”time to time” means Adv. 1. from time to time – now and then or here and there; “he was arrogant and occasionally callous”; “open areas are only occasionally interrupted by clumps of trees”; “they visit New York on occasion”; “now and again she would take her favorite book from the shelf and read to us”; “as we drove along, the beautiful scenery now and then attracted his attention”
As in not always but has occurred intermittently. I can see that diagnosing the source of the common problem can not be identified solely using my comment however as a body of general information it contributes to the group in identifying these different scenarios in which it happens. I do 100% agree we need a new thread to establish more information to narrow down the search.
