    Are there known plugins which cause conflicts with WPTouch? I installed it, added the rejected user agents into my W3 — loved it, was about to go pro – came back an hour later and my host had rate limited me for CPU overage. First time in ages. (shared hosting – provo blade with host gator …. i know i know … but it’s been cold for ages even under heavy traffic, until this install.)

    any insight would be appreciated. I really love this plugin and would love to go pro.

  • Hi,

    Did your host specify exactly what plugins/files were causing the overage? If it was specific to WPtouch, please ask for a copy of the logs. We’ll take a look at theme and see what may have been causing the issue.

    I’m sorry I didn’t follow up with my conclusion before wasting your time.

    after some troubleshooting I recalled that I had connected my W3TC to my cloudflare account just prior to configuring WPTouch. Since it was the only change I had made recently, I decided to go back in and uncheck the CDN option in the “extensions” of W3TC.

    The CPU cooled and I upgraded to WPTouch pro. It’s been fine ever since and the traffic has been above average – mostly due to more mobile users loving the new mobile version.
