Hey there, I need some help because I create a post type that seems fine, but when I go to the elementor post type it doesnt show.

Could you please give me an idea of how to fix it?

    Thanks

Have you checked around Elementor’s settings for custom post type focused sections? Integration with their setup would be more on their side than ours.

Hey, Michael thank you for replay so fast, I really appreciate that. Yes, I go to the Elementor setting and select the CPT that I just created.

The thing is when I go to elementor try to create a single. The only post types that show is “page” and “404” and my CPT that I create does not show… I am really stuck here. I don’t know if this is a problem with CPT UI or Elementor or just me doing or not doing something, this is why I send this message. I don’t want to bother but I really need to fix that man.

If you have ANY idea please it will be very helpful.

    Thanks again for your attention.

if you haven’t already, I’d reach out to the Elementor support people, because it’s still something going on and not being detected by their code, as opposed to ours. Wish I had a better answer than that.

No, I haven’t. I saw another post here that someone says it was facing the same thing. If you could reach out to the Elementor support people I’ll be glad. I don’t have access to their support. If they find some solution you mind to reply here? Thank you very much for your attention on Saturday night man.

Best I can offer is what I found at their site at https://docs.elementor.com/search?query=custom+post+types

Beyond that, I don’t have any human support access myself.

Hey, Michael thanks again for your support man. I’ll keep trying to fix that. I understand that this is not something with you plugin with by the way is awesome.

    Take care and thanks again.

Same issue over here. “page” and “404” only show as options.

Elementor support is still going to be the best route here, as it’s their UI and code that isn’t showing things as needed.

If they need a setting set somehow, we can help find a way to do that part, as needed.

Hi….. I am facing the same issue….Can anyone please help?

@vaibhavi1910 more or less all my replies above would be asked of you as well. I don’t have any specific answer since I last looked at this thread.

    I’ve also encountered this problem.

If someone else facing this same problem, I’ve solved my it with this thread : https://github.com/elementor/elementor/issues/9332

for me the problem is than ‘show_in_nav_menus’ was set to false in my CPT declaration. it must be true

    Interesting.

I can confirm the above. Setting option show_in_nav_menus to true during registration of the custom post type in question will make the custom post type show up in Elementor post type dropdowns.

    Hi there,

Could you tell me if this was ever resolved as I am having the same issue at the moment?

    Look forward to your replies.

    Regards,

    Mark

P.s just the show_in_navs_menu did not work for me..
