    Hello,
cpt crashes the site as soon as an update is made.
Every time I have to go back to cptui> change the type of publication and save…
Do you have a solution, please, it’s urgent…

elementor is used on the site, and it is multilingual. the bug impacts the content of the main language pages (which disappears, only the header and footer remain visible). When I re-save the cptui, the contents of these pages come back…

    Hi,

Crashes in what way? White screen? Post content is wrecked somehow? You mention having to re-change the type of publication, but I’m not quite sure what you mean with that part.

If this is frontend where the crashing is happening, it’s potentially a PHP error with your theme more than anything CPTUI is doing, as we don’t add any frontend output ourselves.

    hello, Thanks for your answer,
White screen appears on pages content. (the content reappears once i go to admin>?CPTUI?> save the publication type)
The theme used is the standard Astra.

debug elementor say: Template File: No Templates for condition > Astra – page.php but not sure it is correlated..

What aspect of resaving the CPTUI settings for the post type are you seeing needs updated at all? Or is it just visiting the settings, clicking save without editing anything?

That template file issue actually sounds potentially pretty related, but I’m not that familiar with Astra to know what’s going on off the top of my head.

yes, only is it just visiting the settings, clicking save without editing anything…

Without being able to see/tinker, I’m not sure what to suggest here. Logically resaving our without editing shouldn’t be doing anything fixing like this. I wonder if perhaps it’s happening to also be flushing permalinks, because I know we have some mechanism in place to help with that temporarily.

Hello, i found out that the conflit is with “Yoast SEO“.
When i desactivate “Yoast SEO“, the content reappears…
Any idea why will help, thanks

Definitely good to see we have a different potential source of issue, but without knowing any errors being logged to your hosting error logs, it’s impossible to say what may be going on.

If you or someone else working on the website could check those, that’d be a big help.
