    Struggling with permalinks.
For a certain CPT I need the archive page URL to be URL.com/CPT-name(plural)/ but the individual posts should not include the CPT name, like so: URL.com/post-name/.

Would use a plugin to simply get rid of the CPT name in the slug if it wasn’t for a couple of other CPTs on the same site that need a different permalink structure.
On second thought, I suppose a plugin that allows me to contcrol permalink structure per CPT exists, but if possible I would prefer to solve this with Pods.

In the site settings permalinks are set to postname.

Any idea if/how I can solve this with Pods?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Since leaving off the post-type of the custom post-type isn’t covered by WordPress Core Permalink rules, you can’t really do this one. You could set the slug override as “/” (basically nothing), but there’s nothing to differentiate your post-types from the pages or posts on your site.

Custom Post Types Permalinks is a plugin that allows you to add the variables to your custom post types from the Settings, Permalinks screen so this might accomplish what you want. We won’t be adding this functionality to Pods anytime soon, because rewriting permalinks, writing custom .htaccess rules and rewrite rules is outside the scope of the functionality of the Pods Framework. We focus primarily on what is supported directly by WordPress Core for register_post_type.

    Thanks for replying @jimtrue

I tried the plugin you mentioned, apparently it seems to not be possible to remove cpt-name from the individual post slugs.

Well well, I’ll know how to plan better next time.
    Thanks again!
