I created a custom post type, set the hierarchical value to true and enabled Page Attributes. But when I go to select a page parent, the only options are other posts within the same post type. How can I get this to include all pages published on the site?

WordPress doesn’t allow for parent/child relationships between content types, so this is the expected behavior.

At the same time, I know that technically, the only thing saved in the database that establishes a parent post type post is a post ID, but I haven’t explored anything regarding setting the ID of a different post type, and that would all be set manually without UI help. That said, probably best to not cross things like that.
