• I think the CPT-onomy plugin is great. Knowing that I won’t have to update two different elements (a taxonomy and a second CPT) at the same time, is both a time saver and an error-prevention mechanism.

However, we need to be able to search thru the first CPT, based on the CPT-onomy, and that doesnt seem to work. We use the Advanced Post Search plugin to create a form. It works great with a standard taxonomy element. However, when we include a CPT-onomy into the form, the search result is not CPT1 results, filtered by CPT-onomy. Instead, it just outputs the CPT-onomy that was used in the filter.

Do you have another means we can do a search?
3 CPT (employee, location and services) with the second 2 acting as CPT-onomy for employees. And then a search form of employees, filterable by the other 2.

(PS, if i can get this to work with CPT-onomy, I would gladly make a donation)

We tried it also with Search & Filter, and it similarly did not work. Both search plugins work when searching standard ‘category’ taxonomies, but not the CPT-onomies.
