Hey there, I saw the previous support question on this. It seemed like the resolution for some was to ‘edit’ the post type and ‘save’ to make the post type re-appear on the dashboard menu, but this is not working for me. The funny thing is, I have 3 custom post types and 3 taxonomies. Only one is not showing, but I can hit it manually by using the url /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=special_offer.

    Any ideas on this?

    Thanks in advance, Jon

Could you verify that you still have your CPTUI-based custom post types being listed in the edit screen?

    Michael,

Yes, I do – all are listed correctly. I can edit and save them as well.

    Thanks, Jon

sounds like for some reason, they’re not being properly registered, which isn’t going to prevent from finding your way to their edit screens, but would prevent them from showing up in the menu like usual. Not much I’d be able to investigate from my side of things, but if you’re still using the 0.8.x versions, it’d be in the main plugin file towards the top for where it’s all being registered.

    Michael,

Thanks for following up. I was afraid to delete the post type, but I saw the note above saying no data was destroyed on delete. Backed up, deleted, recreated, and everything is working great. Thanks for making an awesome plugin. This with ACF Custom Fields are very powerful and easy to use.

    Thanks, Jon

Yeah, with the plugin itself, we only edit/affect the saved wp_option values that we create, we don’t do any queries for the posts for our post types in the wp_posts/wp_postmeta tables and do anything there. ?? Good to hear things worked out in the long run.
