    Hi there,

    I am a new user to NavXT and overall it seems great, except for when I am trying to manage a custom hierarchy.

    I currently have a custom post type called ‘Industries’ and that has many posts with multiple children. Please see below:

    – Industries
    – – – Industry A
    – – – – – – Industry A1
    – – – – – – Industry A2
    – – – Industry B
    – – – Industry C

    When visiting the Industry A1 page it the breadcrumb is as follows:

    SiteName -> Industry A1

    But this should be:

    SiteName -> Industries -> Industry A -> Industry A1

    I have searched around for a resolution. But I cant seem to find anything.

    I appreciate any help in advance!

    Make sure that Industry A1 is actually a child of Industry A. Then, make sure that in the Breadcrumb NavXT settings page that for the Industries post type the Industries Hierarchy Display setting is checked, and Industry Hierarchy setting is set to “parent”.

    Additionally, you may want to ensure that the Industries Archive Display setting is checked (if Industries is a generated post type archive page for the Industries post type), or that the Industries Root Page is set to “Industries” (if Industries is an instance of the page post type).

    Hi John,

    Thank you very much for your reply.

    I have checked everything against what you said and it all seems to be correct but still no working breadcrumb.

    If I view Industry A the breadcrumb is:

    SiteName -> Industries -> Industry A

    But as soon as I traverse through the child pages the breadcrumb only returns:

    SiteName -> PageName

    With no hierarchy.

    Hi John,

    I have just found out that any changes that were made within the site were note having any effect at all.

    Only by making the changes in network settings did it have any effect.

    So now I have just updated and all seems to be working.

    Hi Again,

    Just a quick question regarding the root page for each post type. Is there an option for the root page to be that of another custom post type?

    If not do you know if this will be included in a later version?

    Thanks in advance!
