CPT appears as an archive but not in categories

I would check out our information over at https://docs.pluginize.com/article/post-types-in-category-tag-archives/ that explains in better detail what’s going on and how to get the post types included in category/tag archives.

Thank you, I did that. Installed Code Snippets and everything, just like I did the 2 before. I can’t figure out what’s happening???
Everything is set up the same way including adding to the code in the info you sent. Have you heard of anything like this happening before?

I have another site that I tested it on. I exported the working CPT and imported to a new site. Same thing happening, it’s not showing up in the categories list.

Best guess I have is perhaps some code elsewhere is “trampling over the attempts you’re making here. Beyond that, it’s just a matter of digging and inspecting what all may be affecting the query.

I would accept the “trampling over” if it were only on one site, but I tried the plugin on 2 other sites, all with the same results. I just wound up not using the plugin for that last category and creating something that would only show that one category. If you have any ideas of what to do next I’m all ears. Maybe it will work the next time I try it. Thanks for your help.

Were a 3 sites using generally the same settings, or same plugins to attempt changing the behavior? Curious if the Code Snippets part is not running things in time, and perhaps setting things via say your active theme’s functions.php file would work.

Any news or changes here?
