• Hello,
I’m facing an issue with CPD Popular Posts Widget. The widget displays the most popular posts on the sidebar, but their links are like this: domain.tld/?p=175

The problem is that in my WordPress installation, I’m not using Plain Permalings so the above links lead to Page not found errors.

What can be done about this?

Digging some more on this issue, I found that my problem is NOT related to Permalinks.

In my case, among my most Popular posts are some PAGES, which can’t be linked as domain.tld/?p=175. The correct way to link a page is like this: domain.tld/?page_id=175

Is there a way for the CPD Popular Posts Widget to correctly create these links, taking into consideration posts and pages? How about creating the links using pretty permalinks?

Yes, ?p=175 is the default link format for post which always works. But with pages an other post types… i will take a look.

    Hello Tom,

Did you find a chance to take a look? Is there something I can do to help?
