• Hi,
So, I checked everywhere about remote access but find the right answer to my question. I just want to know, to run the WordPress site does it needs the remote access in cpanel to get it running? If we delete the remote access for the database will the website stop working?
    Thank you

  • I’m not quite sure what you mean by “cPanel Remote Access” — since cPanel itself is something that runs on the internet, to be accessed from anywhere on the internet.

    See above.

If you’re running WordPress on the same host (server) where the MySQL server is running, then you don’t need to set up any remote access list… since the application (WordPress) will be making requests from localhost, which should be allowed by default.
