cpanel, address, and email address

  • Hi, I’m trying to use filezilla to get into my blog to change image under wp-style directory, following directions of helpful people, but I can’t seem to get in. I seem to have had password changed by unhelped disappeared webmaster, so when I go to cpanel and type in what I think is my password, that is not accepted, but new one is sent to an email address I do not have. However, I do have something that is an email address, called of all things mousewoman@mousewoman.com, but I was never told how to get into it – any idea? (mousewoman being my blog on wordpress). Perhaps my new password is there! you think? anyone know? how to get in? and, is the ftp address something that will be revealed, once I get in to cpanel?

    Since your webmaster has disappeared (and with all the necessary info too), you should switch to a new webhost.

    how do you suggest doing this, with the minimum of cost and effort? (can I stay with wordpress, and just somehow copy the blog entries, keep same domain name?) I also happen to be moving to the US, this week. Happy to hear your suggestions…
