Hi, wp-types has turned their free plugin to a paying one.. (and a rather expensive one as you have to get their whole suite of plugins now to get access to it). Is there a painless procedure to convert the CPT’s created with it so that they are managed by the Custom Post Type UI instead ?!

    Thanks a looooooot !!!

    Good day @ianstudio

We do not presently have any sort of import mechanism in place for converting from other CPT plugins to our plugin. Best we have is re-entering the settings provided for each into our UI. This could be a pretty quick job, or a little bit time-intensive, depending on how many things you don’t leave as default values and how many post types/taxonomies you have.

My biggest concern on that front is always if we don’t have a UI element for some of the items they have, or if it’s not clear which map to which. The first one we can still manage through some WP filters, but we can’t do much for mapping clarity.
