The cover is appearing now. Thanks.
BUT….
It’s really impossible to make most images “work” well (unless it’s some very generic pattern).
The parallax scrolling is a cool effect, but…is there a way to turn it off? I’m trying to fit the entire width of an image, but it keeps chopping off the sides. I’m not too concerned with the height (which I can adjust with CSS anyway to fit more of the image), but I just want the full width to appear — and I think it’s not showing full width because of the parallax.
I tried about 10 different images, and none of them were satisfyingly displayed, and it left me frustrated. It shouldn’t be this much “work” to find an appropriate cover photo to display. Not everyone will put pics of flowers or clouds or a sunset. Many people will put images of themselves, friends or loved ones — and in almost every case, it will be cropped in a manner that’s not pleasing. There really should be better control of how an image can be displayed.
It would be lovely if there was a way to turn the parallax off, either individually or site-wide.
Also…no matter what I do with X/Y positioning, or repeat/no-repeat, it NEVER seems to change anything. These settings aren’t working for me at all.
