Cover Letter File Upload Option

    I would like to have a second file upload button to permit applicants to include a Cover Letter (or other additional files). And, I would like to have a link to these files from the Applicant Edit page.

    A previous posting inquired about adding a second file upload to the job listings. The posting indicated that 3 files should be modified. Could you provide example files?

    Also, it seems that the Applicant Edit page would need to be modified to provide a link to the Cover Letter. Thus, when a user is reviewing an application, the user will have links providing access to both the Cover Letter and Resume files that have been uploaded.

    … You might also consider a multiple file upload tool. … where the type of file could be specified (Cover Letter, Resume, etc) … and certain types might be Required. That would really solve the problem generally.

    Currently, SJB has one upload field that is for attaching resume but you can customize your Job Board for another cover letter upload field.

    For a glimpse, we can tell you that please customize the following files:
    simple-job-board/templates/single-jobpost/job-application.php
    simple-job-board/includes/class-simple-job-board-ajax.php
    simple-job-board/includes/class-simple-job-board-applicants.php
    simple-job-board/public/js/class-simple-job-board-public.js

    Modification in core plugin files is based on your requirements. So, we can’t provide you the example files because it’s the part of your job. Hope you get the point.

    Yes, you have to do modifications in simple-job-board/includes/class-simple-job-board-applicants.php file.

    You might also consider a multiple file upload tool. … where the type of file could be specified (Cover Letter, Resume, etc) … and certain types might be Required. That would really solve the problem generally.

    We have noted down suggestion. But down the road for many other features, not sure when we will add this feature.
