    Is there any way to disable the upload the Cover Image? For security and disk space reason I prefer my users not being able to upload pictures. With the avatar was quite easy to do it in the permissions, but I can’t find the same option for the cover image.
    Thank you.

    @bottas,
    After uploading the Cover image, wpForo decrease its size to several KB’s.
    And if the user changes hi Cover the old one won’t stay in the disk, it will be removed.
    So you don’t need to worry about that the covers would take much space in the disk.

    Thanks for the reply.
    Can I also ask which are the optimal dimensions for the cover image?
    Thanks a lot.

    @bottas,

    The cover would be merged, so you just need to use a wide image. There is no width dimension as it’s set to 100% of the parent div and so on.

    Thank you for the infos, unfortunately I really don’t like the idea of letting my users upload stuff on my website so for those who might have my same problem I recommend to use a plugin called “Yellow Pencil” to get rid of the upland button. It works amazingly.
    Thanks again.
