Cover Block contents disappearing

    Hello,

    I am using the Extendable theme. On my homepage I have a Cover Block with text and a button. The text and button keep disappearing a few hours after I put them there and log out. I go back, look in the page revisions, and see it deleted. The “who” the revision by is blank. I can reset it back to the original, but then a few hours later it has disappeared again. What could be going on? Thank you!

    Hi,

    I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue. To help troubleshoot, could you let me know if this problem is happening only with the text and button in the Cover Block, or if other content is also disappearing?

    It would also be helpful to know which plugins you have installed. Do you have any backup plugins or automated backup systems running on your site?

    Additionally, could you try creating a new page and adding the same Cover Block with text and a button to see if the issue persists on that page?

    Thank you, Amjad. In the cover block, the background picture stays, but the text and buttons are in a row, then a group, and those are all going away (row, group, text, and button).
    I have other Cover blocks on other pages that are not changing. I did just add my problem block to another page to see what will happen.
    My host is IONOS, and I just removed several optional plug-ins they auto-installed. I will also contact them to see if this is something from their side.
    When I go to revisions, this is what it shows after the deletion has occurred:

    Could you please edit the cover block and remove the class ext-import from the block?
    You can find the class input field by selecting the block, navigating to the right sidebar under “Block” settings, and expanding the “Advanced” section. In this section, you’ll see the “Additional CSS Class(es)” field.

    This should resolve the issue. Please let me info if the issue persists.

    Thank you! I removed the CSS. I don’t know why it way there, actually!
