Coustom field data lost for next order

    If you but your billing adress in an order the system show the data again at the next new order. The system use the old data for the new order. If I insert a coustom field the data in this field sems to be only used for one order. At a new order the field is clear again. What can I do that the customer don′t need to fel out this field again at a new order?
