• Is there a / what is the easiest way to set up an affiliate option for Coursepress courses?

I would like to be able to distribute the payments among several PayPal accounts if possible, and/or at the very least be able to set up individual affiliate links.

    The situation is:
3 people are supposed to get paid for each sale.
For some sales, an affiliate is supposed to get 50%, and the 3 people the rest divided 3 ways.

Splitting the payments among the 3 people I could do manually in PayPal if needed, but I do need a way to know which sales are made via the affiliate and which are not.

IF coursepress doesn’t have a plugin/option for this, what would be a work-around? Feel free to be creative ??

    Hello @torkel

I hope you are doing well today!

CoursePress doesn’t have affiliate function implemented. Although you can try the following solutions.

The CoursePress is integrated with MarketPress plugin as a checkout system. The MarketPress is an affiliate-ready plugin.

MarketPress already has an add-on for Affiliates so just activate that and you should be good to go. It will track course purchases just like it would track any product purchase through MarketPress.

You will need to use the Affiliate plugin and enable Marketpress add-on from Dashboard > Affiliates > Add-ons. You can subscribe for 15 days trial to try the plugin.

When the MarketPress add-on is activated, you’ll see a new Affiliate Settings section in the MarketPress settings at Products > Store Settings > Payments.

The users will need to sign up to be an affiliate.

I hope this helps. Please note that the Affiliate plugin will work with MarketPress lite version only.

    Cheers,
    Nastia
