Hi there,
I think I have the same error as thefloorsweeper.
I just created a new instance of WordPress and everything works fine until I activate the “CoursePress Learning Management System” plugin. I tried installing it from the “Add New” in WP admin and manually by downloading it from the www.remarpro.com website, the result is the same: my website becomes all white and if I do a “view source” it’s completely empty and I can no longer access the website nor its admin section.
In the logs I found this:
PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function mkdir() on boolean in /chroot/mywebsite/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/coursepress/2.0/include/coursepress/helper/class-pdf.php on line 474, referer: https://mywebsite/wp-admin/plugin-install.php?s=course&tab=search&type=term
This occurs when I activate the plugin. Installing it works fine.
Deleting the plugin manually from my wordpress instance brings back my website.
I hope this helps!
