Hello, i have encountered a problem while trying to reassign the Course Catalog Page. The newly assigned page remains blank. The older one though stays active (with courses’ icons) even when I delete it from the page list.
Moreover, when i switched to Customizr topic, the Course Catalog and Membership pages now have widgets at the bottom that I cannot get rid of.
Would appreciate a piece of advice on how to fix all this.

  • @dmitrybedn,

Do you have any caching plugins installed or any server level caching enabled?

Can you also post a link to the old and new course catalog pages

Also, after saving, does the new page stick in your settings or is it reverting there?

    What is “Cusomizr topic”?

The sidebar displaying on the catalog page is usually a sign that your theme isn’t 100% configured to work with LifterLMS and you may need to add some custom actions to a child theme / custom plugin in order to get the catalogs to display properly. What theme are you using?

    Thanks,

I’m sorry what I meant was Customizr Theme.

I installed the Lifter LMS Lab, the course and lesson side bars are no visible, but the message that the theme does not declare support remains.
I also reinstalled Customizr Theme, the message is still on.
I tried the other day to insert the snippet according to the directions you posted. But i’m not sure that was a success.
In my theme editor i have two files (core/functions.php and functions.php). where do I install the snippet?

My old course page is https://fluentpilot.ru/fpissues/ (still has course tiles on it and a bunch of weird widgets in the bottom), my newly assigned course page is https://fluentpilot.ru/course-list/

If I delete the old page, it goes to the ‘trash bin’ tab. But the course tile remain there. For example i can still open this old page if i type in the address manualy in the web browser.

I have no chaching plugins installed.

I guess, it’s the theme compatability issues as it seems to work better on other themes.
For example Ultra Theme recognizes the newly assigned page for course catalog.

    @dmitrybedn,

We cannot programmatically tell that you have decided that your sidebars are functional so once you manually confirm your sidebars are working so you need to dismiss the message yourself once you’re happy with it.

As far as the trash issues I can’t recreate these. Do you have any caching plugins installed?

After trashing you may need to reset your catalog settings under LifterLMS -> Settings -> Catalogs.

    Hope that helps
