    Thanks for reaching us!
    Setting featured image is working without displaying any blanks. Please retry to add the featured image. Sometimes it may happen because you have wrong permalink settings. Please check your permalinks settings:
    Go to WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks and it should be Postname.
